Cozumel Humane Society "Wish List"
Our top priority is to procure the materials needed for spay/neuter surgeries, so that we may use them ourselves and provide them to the local veterinarians now affiliated with us in the McKee Program.
For example:
SUTURES
Vicryl or similar, 2-0 and 3-0. Please! Only these!
We CAN use expired sutures though, so ask your vets for the ones they can
give you.
STERILE GLOVES:
sizes 6.5, 7.5 and 8.
SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS:
Scalpel blades, scalpel handles, spay hooks, hemostats.
We can use lots and lots of GAUZE.
If you have access to other kinds of material, equipment or medications, please contact us first. We are very appreciative of whatever you can get for us, but we have very specific needs and not a lot of storage area.
