 When sport fishing off Cozumel with Albatros Charters, depending on the season you can expect to catch sail fish, blue and white marlin (these are catch and release only), wahoo, grouper, snapper, dorado (dolphin, mahi-mahi) and barracuda just to name a few.

Cozumel deep sea fishing is primarily done with trolling where we use outriggers and down riggers and have a minimum of 5 lines in the water. Since the drop off for deep fishing is so close to the shore, travel times to begin good trolling are almost non existent. 
At Albatros Charters we supply all the necessary fishing gear, the lures and the bait. We use Fin-Nor, Penn International and custom Reels and Rods. If you prefer, you can bring your own gear to fish.

All our Cozumel fishing charters include purified water, soft drinks, Mexican beer, snacks or fruit and light food. Lunch is served on our all day and 3/4 day trips.

 For your convenience we pick you up and leave you at your hotel dock. Coming in on a cruise ship or over from Playa Del Carmen? No problem. We'll meet you at an easily accessible pier.

Cozumel Charter Fishing Rates

Boat rate for Full Day (up to 8 hours fishing time) 
maximum of 6 people

 $575-$650 U.S.*

Boat rate for 3/4 Day (up to 6 hours fishing time)
maximum of 6 people)

$500-$575 U.S.*

Boat rate for Half Day (up to 4 hours fishing time) 
maximum of 6 people

 $420-$475 U.S.*

 *All of our rates include all taxes (15%) Rates vary by boat

A $100 deposit is required to confirm any reservation.

  • Deposits are fully refundable if Cozumel ports are closed

  • No partial refunds for returning early (ie, due to seasickness)

  • Deposits are not refundable if cancelled within 2 weeks of excursion.

  • Deposits are not refundable if your cruise ship changes ports and our ports are open.
